Celebrating the Ordinary Challenge – Day 4

We’ve been keeping our eye on the Republican National Convention around here this week, enough to violate my “no TV mid-week” rule that drives my son nuts. While I don’t want to turn either this challenge nor my blog to politics, and most especially not in the current political climate, watching the wheels of democracy turn is a poignant reminder of how lucky we are to vote. Even in the 21st century, one doesn’t have to look far to find people without the privilege of arguing about the very issues over which there is so much passion in this country.

  1. Hi Lori,
It’s funny you mention conventions. I posted about them the other day. I always watch them both. I agree we need to remember it’s a wonderful privilege to vote. Thanks for the reminder. Good for you for keeping up with this challenge. I’ve been sort of a part-timer myself.
